History, politics, and art show us an uncomfortable truth. When faced with a moral dilemma, confused and torn between the good and the bad path, the majority of people most often choose to listen to the immoral voice.
🤔 Why do people choose lies, deceit, corruption, and personal gain?
Our preliminary short answer is that people choose evil over good when deep down they have decided that it is the shorter and easier path in life, but most importantly, when they have decided that, compared to other possibilities, this path is more realistic, genuine, and even more meaningful.
This is a disturbing assertion, and it is a wonder how they have reached this paradoxical conclusion.
💔 Why do people choose the wrong path?
People most often choose the wrong path because they are internally convinced that it is the only one that will bring them AT LEAST some real benefit. This is a pessimistic, hidden, and intimate conclusion, but it is so strong and dominating the entire personal life that when we look at it globally, it turns out that it also determines the overall tone of human relationships, which also become predominantly negative and disappointing.
